Although the season is still ongoing, all signs are pointing towards the St. Louis Rams needing to address the quarterback position in the upcoming offseason. After benching Johnny Manziel, the Cleveland Browns will more than likely draft a quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft and move on from the Johnny Manziel experiment.
I'm told there is a very good chance Manziel is third string the rest of season. Very well could've played his final game for Browns

The Rams will likely move from Case Keenum. Nick Foles could be released, but the jury is still out on Foles. The only quarterback that is a guarantee to return for the 2016 season is current rookie Sean Mannion...who has yet to even appear on the field
The St. Louis quarterback situation is a mess, and there doesn't seem to be a good solution in sight.
There's no guarantee Manizel will be available for the Rams, but it does seem likely. Manziel has had lengthy issues while with the Browns: he's been late for meetings, had to go to rehab, and currently lost his starting job based on the fact that he was at the club having fun. It's not like Manziel was "sipping on Dom Perignon for no reason." He was just announced the starting QB. Sounds like a great reason to have fun to me!
The thing is, some people will be put off by Manziel antics while some people think that Manziel should be able to go out and have fun. The Rams have dealt with "troubled" players in the past and have done a pretty good job in that regard.

In my opinion the biggest issue for Manziel is the on the field stuff. No one really knows how good of a quarterback he can be in the NFL yet. Manziel is a project, but he has had a couple of games where he has shown his potential this season. Would that potential be enough for the Rams? Some staff members were interested in Manziel during the 2014 NFL Draft.
For the Rams, it will be hard to draft a quarterback if he is not a projected franchise quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft. As far as free agents go, there's really no good free agents available. Foles has not inspired any type of hope in his play as the starting quarterback this season. Mannion will more than likely need more time to develop, if he is to be thought of as a potential starter. Manziel could be an intriguing quarterback addition if the opportunity presents itself.
