The St. Louis Rams' list of players on injured reserve has swelled to a half-dozen strong:
- G Jamon Brown
- WR Isiah Ferguson
- CB E.J. Gaines
- OLB Alec Ogletree
- G Rodger Saffold
- T Darrell Williams
With those six sidelined, the rest of the team is in pretty good shape. Two names standout on this week's injury report, though, as the Rams head to the Chesapeake Bay to take on the Baltimore Ravens:
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status | Thu. Status |
Rob Havenstein | T | Calf | DNP | DNP |
Robert Quinn | DE | Hip | DNP | DNP |
Tim Barnes | C | Concussion | Limited | Full |
Chris Long | DE | Knee | Full | Full |
What's confusing about this week's starting duo in Havenstein and Quinn is that the report is listing new injuries. Last week, Havenstein was ailing from an ankle injury and Quinn was dealing with his knee. This week, it's a calf and a hip injury, respectively.
On the better side as Bate pointed out in the Wednesday report, it sounds like Chris Long is finally ready to get back in action.
Here's what the Ravens are dealing with:
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status | Thu. Status |
Nick Boyle | TE | Foot | DNP | DNP |
Elvis Dumervil | LB | Knee | DNP | Full |
Kelechi Osemele | G | Knee | DNP | Full |
Chris Canty | DE | Not Injury Related | -- | DNP |
Daryl Smith | LB | Not Injury Related | -- | DNP |
The final report's out later today after the Rams conclude their last practice of the week.
