The 2015 St. Louis Rams are 4-4 after eight games. Today, they're looking to get back on the better side of .500 as they take on a revived Chicago Bears team as the playoff push begins in earnest across the NFC West, the NFC and the NFL as a whole.

The 2015 Chicago Bears are 3-5 after eight games. Today, they're looking to reach .500 for the first time this season as the playoff push begins in earnest across the NFC West, the NFC and the NFL as a whole...

It is a bit of a tale of two cities. Both have legitimate aspirations to come out of this with a win. For the Rams, it's the continued success of the combination of a playoff-caliber defense and rookie RB standout Just Todd Gurley. For the Bears, it's the resurrection of QB Jay Cutler and the ineptitude of the Rams' passing offense threatening the success of the entire team.

Someone's aspirations will blossom while another's will be suspended for yet another week. The NFL is a dismal slog through the disappointments of reality temporarily buoyed by the ephemeral doses of satisfaction.

Sixty minutes is all that separates the two.

Go Rams.
