Well this is interesting:
With Tre Mason probably out w/his ankle injury, Rams have promoted Trey Watts to active roster from practice squad.

To make room for Watts on 53-man roster, Rams have waived safety Christian Bryant.

Back in May, St. Louis Rams RB Trey Watts was suspended for the first four games for a substance violation. The Rams didn't move to fold him back in immediately once he was available, though. After Week 5, the Rams released Watts to open up some space on the roster. Soon after, with Rodger Saffold to IR, the Rams promoted TE Justice Cunningham from the practice squad and put Watts in his PS space.
Today, Watts completes his long journey back to the 53-man roster.
His spot? Vacated by S Christian Bryant.
Bryant came up at the beginning of the month and actually saw some significant time with special teams in recent weeks. I'm a bit surprised he made way given how immediately he saw time with the specials.
As it stands, Trey Watts is back with your active St. Louis Rams.
