Thursday Night Football Seattle Seahawks At San Francisco 49ers: Live Open Thread

The 2-4 Seattle Seahawks are in NorCal to take on the 2-4 San Francisco 49ers. Statement game anybody?

One of them leaves with their season's hopes renewed. One is looking up at the world.

The 2-4 Seattle Seahawks are facing the 2-4 San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on Thursday Night Football for a huge NFC West showdown.

In years past, these two were the class of the division. The Niners made the NFC Championship three years in a row from 2011 to 2013 while the Seahawks are coming off of back-to-back Super Bowl appearances, winning in 2013.

2015 is shaping up to be a fork the road.

Seattle's somehow out to a 2-4 record despite entering the fourth quarter of all six games with the lead. Still, a two-game losing streak and on the road? Not exactly a winning formula.

San Francisco, on the other hand, has sandwiched four losses in between their two wins in Weeks 1 and 6. They've got the bigger question marks for this season than the Seahawks, but they'll have the San Fran faithful egging them to get one over Seattle.

In the end, it's a watchable TNF contest, and one that could obviously have ramifications on the Rams as the 2015 regular season goes on.
