Rams are placing RG Rodger Saffold (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season. TE Justice Cunningham takes his spot on the roster.

It's not unexpected news, as there were whispers of Saffold having a torn Labrum in his shoulder after the game at Green Bay, but it doesn't soften the blow much. Saffold was - by far - the most experienced starter along the offensive line and is irreplaceable. Garrett Reynolds
Taking Saffold's spot on the roster will be TE Justice Cunningham. When taken out of context, that may seem a bit strange, but apparently TE Lance Kendricks has been playing with a broken finger. So THAT's why his hands have been less reliable this season.
Cunningham called up to replace Saffold in part because of finger injury to TE Kendricks. He had surgery on finger and questionable for CLE.

Cunningham's promotion leaves an open spot on the practice squad, which will be filled by recently released RB Trey Watts. With just Todd Gurley gashing defenses, Watts will be more valuable on the PS than he would have been on the active roster.
So, in summary:
1) Saffold - IR
2) Reynolds - starting RG
3) Kendricks - surgery, Q for Browns
4) Cunningham - promoted
5) Watts - PS signee

There will be plenty more to come on these moves over the next few days. Stay Tuned.
