A week ago, we started with just two players on the Rams' Wednesday injury report. Not this week.
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status |
Chase Reynolds | RB | Knee | DNP |
Eugene Sims | DE | Knee | DNP |
Maurice Alexander | S | Groin | DNP |
Kenny Britt | WR | Shoulder | DNP |
James Laurinaitis | LB | Not Injury Related | DNP |
Well, it'll give us more material with the injury reports this week. It should make the weekly Thursday hypothetical injury report more interesting at that.
No word on any progress for Reynolds and Sims who have been sidelined since after Week 1. The Britt shoulder issue is one to keep a keen eye on. Kenny was the Rams' best (and perhaps only) offensive threat last Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, hauling in seven catches for 102 yards.
Here's what the Arizona Cardinals are starting the week with:
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status |
J.J. Nelson | WR | Shoulder | DNP |
John Brown | WR | Shoulder | Limited |
Andre Ellington | RB | Knee | Limited |
Mike Iupati | G | Knee | Limited |
Alex Okafor | LB | Shoulder | Limited |
With four players in limited action on Wednesday, I'd be surprised if the Cardinals are without any of them. That leaves just Nelson as the major week-long concern for the home side.
