Postponed: The Rams Second Interview With Nathaniel Hackett

Former Buffalo Bills’ offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett was due in St. Louis for a second interview with the Rams on Tuesday. That didn’t happen...

The St. Louis Rams were expected to have had their second interview with former Buffalo Bills’ offensive coordinator/QB coach Nathaniel Hackett on Tuesday.  According to Jim Thomas, that didn’t take place, and that interview may take place later this week.

"May" is the operative word here.  “Why not?” is certainly a pertinent question.

Hackett served his last two seasons in Buffalo under head coach Doug Marrone.  Marrone skipped town, and the Bills hired Rex Ryan who brought in former 49ers’ offensive coordinator Greg Roman.

The Rams aren’t the only team interested in acquiring Hackett.  The Washington Redskins and Jacksonville Jaguars, who recently signed former Rams’ OC Greg Olson, are both looking to bring him in as QB Coach.

Stay tuned for details on the Rams’ offensive coordinator vacancy later this week.  As time elapses, though, it looks like it’s becoming more an in-house race between QB coach Frank Cignetti, TE coach Rob Boras...and
