St. Louis Rams 2015 NFL Mock Draft Roundup [Updated]

This may come as a surprise, but there are 2015 NFL mock drafts all over the internet. We’ve compiled a dozen, specifically for the St. Louis Rams, for your viewing pleasure...

Shortly after the new year began, we compiled links to 2015 NFL mock drafts from eleven different sites.  In early January, there were still twelve NFL teams vying for the Lombardi Trophy [hint: the Rams weren’t one of them], and the Ohio State Buckeyes had yet to put it on the Oregon Ducks in the National Championship game.

Regarding the St. Louis Rams, we knew two things.  Their season was over, and they were picking 10th overall.  Nothing’s changed on that front, but every good mock draft needs an update, and folks like Mel Kiper Jr. and Daniel Jeremiah had yet to release their initial first round prognostications.

At the time, there were four players most mocked to the Rams:  LSU guard La’El Collins, Stanford OT Andrus Peat, Texas A&M OT Cedric Ogbuehi, and Florida St. QB Jameis Winston.  Let’s see how things shake out just a few weeks later with a pair of new NFL draft experts in the mix...

It’s no secret the Rams are going to need to address the offensive line - and the potential vacancies therein - during the offseason.  With the return of Jake Long, Scott Wells, and Joe Barksdale all in question, it’s more a matter of when than if the Rams draft an offensive lineman.

The Rams will also be eyeing a quarterback in the draft, but 10th overall isn’t an ideal spot, with Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston likely being selected by other QB-needy teams at the top of the draft.  It’s possible one [most likely Winston] could fall to 10, and the folks from NFL Draft Geek and Chris Burke from SI wouldn’t let him slip to 11.

The Rams also don’t have all seven rounds to fulfill their needs.  They coughed up their 4th and 6th round picks when they traded for Mark Barron last season.

It goes without saying that they need to make the most of the picks they do have.  And for now, that all starts with the 10th overall selection.  What would you do?
