Feel Good Stories of the Day
The Kemoeatu brothers, who lined up opposite each other in the fierce Steelers-Ravens rivalry, showed an enormous dedication to family recently. Guy retired to donate his kidney to his brother. That's dedication right there. Here's hoping for a full recovery on both sides.
Also, the NFL recognized a mistake on the scorecard for Week 2. So Aaron Donald gets credited for his first career sack...on a Thursday.
Per @ccpearce, NFL reviewed sack from last week originally credited to Sims/Gaines and changed it to credit DT Aaron Donald. First for him.

Week 3 Picks - It's not pretty for the Rams
A whopping 4 out of 32 'experts' picked the Rams over the Cowboys. Have a look... (CBS, Bleacher Report, and Pro Football Focus)
TJ Mac Overlooked, Fish not happy
Coach Fisher was none too happy when Tedd Ginn Jr. was chosen over our own TJ McDonald for NFC Special Teams Player of the week. TJ wasn't concerned though.
QB Situation
Shaun Hill was limited in practice and looks like a game-time decision again this week. This is starting to look a whole lot similar to last week.
Jim Thomas reported that Austin Davis got the "lion's share" of reps with the 1st team offense in Thursday's practice.
Rant Sports thinks that the Rams may have something in Austin Davis. I'm not buying the Brett Favre comparison though.
Injury updates for players not named Shaun Hill
WR Tavon Austin (knee), TE Cory Harkey (knee) again didn't practice.Same for OL Barrett Jones (back), CB Trumaine Johnson (knee), of course.

Lengthy injury report from Dallas includes WR Dez Bryant (shoulder), LB Justin Durant (groin), QB Tony Romo (back) as non participants.

New Drug Policy effects on Week 3 Game
We've all heard by now that the Rams got Studman back with the new drug policy this week. The Cowboys got one of their starting CBs, Orlando Scandrick, back as well.
Analyzing Week 3
When Bradford went down again (sniff), we all knew that the Rams would have to step up the run game to have a successful season. Through 2 weeks, they haven't been able to do so. If Corey Harkey can't play, expect the Cowboys to challenge the Rams to win via the passing game.
Rant Sports picks out the top 5 matchups for week 3. I find myself attracted to these slideshows much more than I should be...
Too Soon?
A lot can and will happen before the 2015 NFL draft, but Marcus Mariota sure looks like the real deal.
