How Will Stedman Bailey’s Return Impact Rams’ Offense? | Bleacher Report
Through eight quarters of football the Rams have yet to register a single passing touchdown, the only team in the league still waiting to successfully convert that essential football scoring play. So they’ll warmly embrace any and all passing-game help, especially with Sam Bradford out for the season and Shaun Hill still ailing. And especially with Tavon Austin now down for at least two weeks.

Davis Looks Ready to Start Again | NFL Spin Zone
St. Louis Rams quarterback Shaun Hill went down with a thigh injury during the team’s Week 1 blowout loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and backup quarterback Austin Davis came in and looked better than the veteran Hill, who is widely regarded as one of the NFL’s best backup QBs. Davis threw an interception with no touchdowns, but he looked more comfortable in the offense, efficient, and athletic than his veteran counterpart. Hill was relatively health and was active against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2, but it was Davis who was always prepared to start and delivered a quality performance in a gritty, 19-17 victory.
An "Austin"-Tatious Display of Stats and Records | ESPN 101
Winning on the road is never easy in the NFL, and it has always been a challenge for the Rams to come away from a game at Tampa Bay with one in the victory column. Yet the Rams bounced back from not only last week’s loss, but an early deficit, a weather delay and four second-half lead changes to emerge with the 19-17 triumph. The team is now a very respectable 8-8-1 on the road following a season-opening loss.
After re-watching the St. Louis Rams' 19-17 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and combing through some of the statistics, there were a few things that stood out from the defense's performance.

The Rams Will Need to Shut Down Cowboys’ RB Murray | Ramblin’ Fan
Missed tackles, amidst solid running back play, have lead to the Rams ranking 30th in the NFL in stopping the oppositions rushing attack through two weeks. That’ll need to change - rather quickly - if the Rams are to stay competitive in their Week 3 matchup vs. the Cowboys. DeMarco Murray has shown [extremely] well in his first two outings vs. the Rams...

Backup QB Leads Rams Into Game vs. Cowboys | CBS Dallas-Fort Worth
After opening the season with a rough, mistake-filled loss to a team that had been to three straight NFC Championship games, the Dallas Cowboys rebounded with a huge win over the Tennessee Titans. The Titans were a team that many saw as a unit on the rise, and one that some picked to beat Dallas. Instead, the Cowboys dominated both sides of the ball and now they head into Week 3 against a St. Louis Rams team that has not only lost their starting quarterback for the season, but has also lost their backup after one game.
