The Rams will take the field at 5:30 Missouri time to continue preparing for Friday night's season opener against the New Orleans Saints.
This is the last open practice of the week, so it's your last chance to head to Earth City to catch the events in person if you're in the area. You'll get a chance to snag autographs from the running backs and wide receivers today as well.
Yesterday's open practice was, well, a feisty affair, at least for rookie DB Lamarcus Joyner. The Florida St. product scuffled first with Kenny Britt and then with Austin Pettis, the latter of which required a couple teammates to diffuse. Nothing overly remarkable there. It's camp. It happens to every team. You've got emotions and passions running high in an incredibly competitive environment. If nothing else, it's a good thing that they're taking practice seriously.
In any case, the other big news from yesterday was the release of an initial depth chart...that took the unconventional formation path of naming 10 starters on offense. Sure, it's unofficial and Tre Mason as the fourth back...seems unlikely, but at least make the effort to name 11 starters.
In any case, the Rams won't be running any 10-man sets today.
Keep an eye out for those Rams who sat out yesterday with injuries. James Laurinaitis, Michael Brockers, Brian Quick, Rodger Saffold, Kendall Langford, Janoris Jenkins, Brandon McGee, and Barrett Jones all sat yesterday.
To keep up with them and everyone else, keep an eye on the TST Twitter list. And if you're headed to camp and aren't on the list, let us know so we can add you to the timeline.
