Not a good look. Johnson went down on the first play of the Rams' third defensive series, the third series of which the starting defenders were out on the field. On that play, both Michael Brockers and Trumaine Johnson went down. Brockers was able to get up and move to the sideline under his own power.
The same can't be said for Tru.
The bottom line is the cart's never a good look. The best expectations are that Tru's able to make it back late in the season. Which sucks. A lot.
That said, the battle for cornerback depth is now on at full speed. Do you keep Lamarcus Joyner in the slot or move him over? If not, who starts across from Janoris Jenkins? How deep do you go on the 53-man knowing that you're one true sideline CB, in Jenkins, deep?
Not a fun night in Cleveland, y'all.
