Kenny Britt injury: Rams WR leaves game with banged up shoulder

No word on how serious it is.

UPDATE: It's apparently a stinger for Britt, not really a big deal.

St. Louis Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt left Saturday afternoon's game against the Green Bay Packers with what looked to be a shoulder injury. He was spotted on the sidelines without his jersey and shoulder pads, an ice pack draped over his left shoulder.

There's no word yet on his status. Hopefully, it was just a precautionary measure by the Rams, just being careful not to over do it with their starters in a meaningless preseason game.

Britt finished the game with just one catch for five yards. He almost had a highlight reel play early in the game, but Sam Bradford overthrew him as he went streaking down the field on a deep route.

The only other Rams player to suffer an injury, that we know of, was running back Isaiah Pead. He had to be helped off the field and into the locker room after taking a fall on a kick return in the first quarter.
