We're barreling through training camp, with about a week and a half to go until the St. Louis Rams play their first preseason game. But first, they've got a few more days of practice to get through before next Friday rolls around and the Saints pay a visit. Today, they're doing it with real live hitting.
Practice starts at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon at Rams Park, and it's open to the public. It's scheduled to run until 5:30 p.m. For the kids, quarterbacks and tight ends are scheduled to sign autographs after practice.
Padded practices actually started on Monday, but that was a special teams session. This is the first full pads outing for the whole 90-man roster.
As for what to watch, Tevin wrote a nice preview of that earlier this morning, so be sure to check that out before you head over to Rams Park or choose to follow along in our handy open thread here.
Our Twitter list of folks watching practice today and tweeting is embedded below for your convenience. If you're headed out there and plan to tweet about what you see, let us know if you want to be added to the list.
We'll have recap and reaction from practice after it ends this evening.
