The Good
Remember in 2012 when the Rams drafted Brian Quick in the second round; a relatively unknown receiver who still hasn't shown enough to consistently stay on the field with the starters? This is Quick's third season and maybe this will be the one when he puts it all together. So far, it looks like he is coming along right on cue.
Quick beats *Janoris Jenkins* #RinseRepeat

Brian Quick had a great day today. For whatever that's worth.

Brian Quick has been dominating, but we can save that and repeat it every summer. Janoris Jenkins getting roasted on the reg. #RamsCamp

One of the most interesting rookies for the Rams is Lamarcus Joyner. He might be small in stature, but he made big plays in college which lead to the Rams drafting him as their nickel corner back in the second round.
Joyner has had a day long battle with Pettis....gives taller man all he can handle #ramscamp

TJ and Jenkins have been rather disappointing in coverage. Gaines has flashed. Joyner too.

The Bad
It's hard to put a lot of stock into training camp when there's no pads on (honestly, it's hard to judge players until the regular season begins), but the common sentiment seems to be that Jenkins is struggling.
Man, Jenkins had a really bad day. And I wasn't even keying in on him. Every time I did though he got beat.

1. Kenny Britt was working all over the formation with the first team, and largely winning his battles. Absolutely destroyed Janoris in RZ.
— RamsHerd (@RamsHerd) July 28, 2014
Don't be too worried about Jenkins yet, but if this continues it could become a problem. What was interesting on day three? Kenny Britt seems like the veteran receiver the Rams have been missing.
The Kenny Britt factor
Britt then took a few selfies and gave (what I think to be) his gloves to some other fans waiting in line.

Kenny Britt is a genuine professional wide receiver who just beat McGee on another skinny post #ramscamp

Seems like Britt and Quick are best friends now.
Britt and Quick once again.everywhere together. Quick made a great catch and Britt pounded his back #ramscamp

Interesting Kenny Britt & Brian Quick been getting most all first-team reps at WR. Tavon slot/RB. Chris Givens running mostly with 2s. #Rams

Dare I say we should buy into the Kenny Britt training camp hype? He’s outperforming every WR who’s practiced at Rams Park since Holt/Bruce.

Interesting bits of information
Trumaine Johnson didn't practice because of an injury. Also, Jake Long didn't practice which caused shifts on the offensive line, mainly Rodger Saffold moving to left tackle and newly acquired guard Davin Joesph playing guard.
Now that Austin knows the playbook could they actually use him everywhere?
A frequent sight today has been a Tavon Austin carry out of the backfield.

Sounds like head coach Jeff Fisher is making Tre Mason earn his position on the roster. Granted, the Rams have been rotating the running backs in camp, but it was interesting to note Isaiah Pead getting a fair share of carries with the second team. Well that's it for the recap, tomorrow the Rams will have a closed padded practice with the special teams unit, but on Tuesday the whole team will be in full pads. it's almost time for football!
Oh yeah, and one of the most amazing training camp moments happened when a former Superbowl winning quarterback took the field and played catch with Chris Givens and Tavon Austin. Did you miss the amazing moment? Well, don't worry you can catch it here.
.@kurt13warner throwing passes to @Tayaustin01 + @CG1three? It happened. WATCH: http://t.co/DxasxDAK0M #StillGotIt pic.twitter.com/elIjrVXusr
