St. Louis Rams 53-Man Roster Prediction

Jeff Fisher and Les Snead have been churning the roster since they got here and this year will be no different.

The Rams drafted 11 players between Thursday and Sunday and added another 15 more via undrafted free agency (UDFA) come Monday. With the inundation of talent, what better time than now to make a prediction at the 53-man roster that is bound to be way off?

Position Players
Quarterbacks Sam Bradford, Shaun Hill, Garrett Gilbert
Running Backs Zac Stacy, Tre Mason, Benny Cunningham, Isaiah Pead
Wide Receivers Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt, Stedman Bailey, Chris Givens, Brian Quick, Austin Pettis
Tight Ends Jared Cook, Lance Kendricks, Cory Harkey
Offensive Line Jake Long, Greg Robinson, Scott Wells, Rodger Saffold, Joe Barksdale, Barrett Jones, Tim Barnes, Brandon Washington, Demetrius Rhaney
Defensive Line Robert Quinn, Chris Long, Aaron Donald, Michael Brockers, Alex Carrington, Kendall Langford, William Hayes, Matt Conrath, Eugene Sims
Linebackers Alec Ogletree, James Laurinaitis, Jo-Lonn Dunbar, Ray-Ray Armstrong, Daren Bates, Phillip Steward
Cornerbacks Janoris Jenkins, Trumaine Johnson, Lamarcus Joyner, E.J. Gaines, Marcus Roberson, Greg Reid
Safeties T.J. McDonald, Rodney McLeod, Mo Alexander, Matthew Daniels
Special Teams Jake McQuaide, John Hekker, Greg Zuerlein

The cornerback position was the most difficult to predict and should be a battle come training camp. While I did cut Brandon McGee, I could see him earning a spot. Unlike a few of the cornerbacks, he doesn't have trouble with off-the-field incidents.

I also expect the Rams to sign one or two depth players for the offensive line. Don't be surprised if Harvey Dahl ends up back on this squad.

Notable cuts: Daryl Richardson, Brandon McGee, and Austin Davis.
