Random Ramsdom: Well, Here we Are...

Here we are with just one more game to play. As usual these last few years, it is a road trip to Seattle to finish the season. Cold, wet, damp, dank, rainy, gloomy Seattle. Humbug.

So, the Rams have an interesting stat going for them... -SB Nation

The Rams have a better record inside the division than outside of it...the only NFC West team to do so.

The solution is obvious: the Rams should petition the NFL to play five games each against the Seahawks, Niners, and Cardinals. (They'll still have to play one non-NFC West game, but we're doing the best we can here.)

Scouting numbers- Kevin Hogan -ESPN

Yep, it is mock draft season and there is in fact, no limit this year. Kevin Hogan, at this point, looks to be a second or third rounder, if he declares that is. In this writers opinion, he looks capable, but needs some grooming before being NFL ready.

Scouting numbers- Sean Mannion -ESPN

Virtually ditto for what I said about K. Hogan. Some raw talent is there, but would likely need to spend some time on the sideline, before captaining a squad at the NFL level.

Scouting numbers- Brett Hundley -ESPN

Brett Hundley is a more ready NFL prospect, with better vision and presence than the other two. However, I fear that he may be asked to do too much, too soon. He will also need some time to adjust at the next level depending on who drafts him.

Rams at Seahawks...the enemy is not taking this lightly -Seattle Seahawks

Unsung Hero

Aaron Donald. Unsung might be pushing it for Donald, a defensive tackle from Pittsburgh and the Rams’ first-round pick in May’s NFL Draft. But the push he has supplied in the middle of an already good defensive line has been something to sing about in St. Louis this season. Donald has eight sacks to lead all NFL rookies, and he had a streak of five consecutive games with at least one sack broken in Sunday’s loss to the Giants. He also has 39 tackles, including a season-high five in the Week 7 upset of the Seahawks. How good has Donald been? Rams coach Jeff Fisher considered him a Defensive Rookie of the Year candidate before the season started. "I said that in the spring when I saw him on the practice field," Fisher said recently. "I went on the record to say he has a chance to be Defensive Rookie of the Year. I haven’t changed since."

Now, of course Rams fans have heard that quote from Jeff Fisher numerous times, but it is good to know that The Greatest Evil of All Time and Dimensions, is taking notice.

Only two pro bowlers? Awww...

Well, the Rams aren't headed to the post season, but twelve other teams are...here's the skinny -NFL

The Rams get mentioned here a couple of times, but don't expect any warm-fuzzies, no one expects them to win. If they do, however, they will rock the NFC playoff picture.

Broncos win the Pro Bowl, with 9 selections -Bleacher Report

A huge congratulations to DE Robert Quinn and DT Aaron Donald! I am a bit pissed that Johnny Hekker didn't make it though. The other big surprise for me was the lack of Odell Beckham Jr.

Who surprised you by making it or not to the Pro Bowl?

Don't ask me why, but this seems appropriate music for today's theme song...
