For many, the Sam Bradford era is over in St. Louis. He’s got an 18-30-1 record since being drafted in 2010, and the Rams have yet to make the playoffs with him as the team’s signal caller.
He’s also not played in a regular season game since Week 7 of the 2013 season. Since then, he’s suffered two season-ending knee injuries.
But NFL reporter Albert Breer is reporting that Rams’ head coach Jeff Fisher still has Bradford in his plans for 2015, and potentially beyond.

But I'm told Sam Bradford is still in plans.</p>— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/543075711553404928">December 11, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Bradford is the only Rams QB under contract for 2015. His numbers ($16.6M cap/$13.0M cash) will need working. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Bradford's been around the team and on each road trip. The Rams will likely add a QB in the draft. But Bradford could still be '15 starter.</p>— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/543076809676718081">December 11, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Will have more in my NFL Notes, but Jeff Fisher told me he wants Bradford back. Said Bradford/Kroenke were the 2 reasons he took the job.</p>— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/543077273516400640">December 11, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
The Rams may indeed draft a quarterback in 2015, though their potential landing spot in the draft doesn’t make them likely suitors to take one in the first. Regardless, it’s looking more and more likely that the No. 8 Rams’ uniform will still read "Bradford" on the back when the 2015 season kicks off.
