Here's the initial injury report:
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status |
Janoris Jenkins | CB | Knee | DNP |
Cory Harkey | TE | Knee | DNP |
William Hayes | DE | Fibula (?) | DNP |
Jo-Lonn Dunbar | LB | Toe | DNP |
Marcus Roberson | CB | Ankle | DNP |
Rodney McLeod | S | Knee | DNP |
E.J. Gaines | CB | Knee | DNP |
Cody Davis | S | Concussion | Limited |
With seven guys sitting out the first of the week's three practices, things look a bit grim especially in the secondary. Remember, though, that a week ago, we started the week with eight guys listed as DNP and just four (Janoris Jenkins, Aaron Donald, Rodney McLeod and Jo-Lonn Dunbar) were listed as questionable going into the game and only Jenkins was unable to play. So things certainly could turn out for the better in a couple of days.
Still, seeing Hayes' injury listed as regarding his fibula is oddly specific. You have to wonder how severe that is. It harkens back to to earlier this season when the Rams faced a Seattle team who had TE Luke Wilson dealing with a groint injury...
About to update the #Rams-#Seahawks injury reports, but had to let @FieldGulls know that Luke Wilson hurt his groint. pic.twitter.com/1QIQt8c0ri
