Monday Night Football wasn't too kind to the Rams this season, but we got our revenge...
Tonight, though, the stage belongs to the hosting New York Giants and the visiting Indianapolis Colts. If there's an easy Rams tie-in, it's that the Giants head to St. Louis in Week 16 just before Christmas.
Is there much we could learn about the Giants tonight? I'd probably argue not. This certainly seems like a familiar Giants team, though perhaps we'll get some info to the opposite when I talk to Big Blue View later next month.
As for the Colts, they are overall the better team tonight led by the league's best passing unit in yards per game thanks to QB and Civil War hero Andrew Luck. The Colts opened the season 0-2, but that was mostly due to a tough opening duo of Denver and Philadelphia. Of more immediate concern is the 500+-yard, 6-TD performance they allowed from Ben Roethlisberger. While Big Ben was able to replicate that scoring output on Sunday, Eli Manning has to be eager to test that defense tonight.
