Revenge time.
The Rams are in northern California for the second iteration of Rams-49ers for 2014. At 4-3, the 49ers are trying to improve their record to stay ahead of the fray in the playoff picture. The Rams, for our part, are just trying to stay afloat at 2-5.
After all the injuries from a week ago, things don't look too bad. The Rams have four players listed as questionable in Aaron Donald, Janoris Jenkins, Rodney McLeod and Jo-Lonn Dunbar. Throw in the mid-week addition of former Tampa Bay S Mark Barron, and personnel might be the most interesting angle of them all.
In the end, its still one of the bigger rivalries on the Rams' schedule every year. There is an aspect of pride involved. And yes, the Rams shed some in sacrificing a 14-0 lead at home on MNF a few weeks past.
Today, we'll see if this team has the character to put up a fight with their season on the line...or if the challenges of 2014 are more than this group can handle.
