The Rams' offense has shown much improvement this season. 3'rd down conversion efficiency has played a key statistical role in that improvement. After 3 games, the Rams ranked 13'th in the league in 3'rd down conversion efficiency. In the game against Philadelphia, the Rams converted 7 of 14 3'rd downs, which will likely move their ranking into the top ten.

Coach Jeff Fisher had nothing but praise for the efforts of QB Austin Davis, in the loss to the Eagles:
"He was calm and collected and so focused on what he needed to do. He was not flustered at all. He took some hits and we’ve got to get that corrected. But he knows the position is difficult to play and he can overcome that mistake. I think that’s the mark of a fine young quarterback."
