Some last minutes notes for week fantasy football in week 5

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

See those green ads everywhere? Of course you do. FanDuel's a huge addition to the fantasy landscape, and you can get in on the action with the special partnership we've got with them this season. Some notes on today to go with Mike's free agent notes and his weekly Start 'Em, Sit 'Em column:

  • Andrew Luck is going off, but he'll cost you today. If you want him, it'll eat up 1/6th of your entire salary. Austin Davis a play at just $7,200?
  • With neither the Rams nor Eagles playing particularly strong rushing defense this season, I wonder who gets the better today between Zac Stacy and LeSean McCoy. I suggested it could well be the defining factor in the game.
  • At WR, Antonio Brown gets the Jaguars' defense. Costly play, but hard to see how it doesn't work out. Any of the Rams make for an interesting buy for money-saving buys. Guessing which one ends up with the best fantasy game is a harder proposition than I can handle, especially with the news that Tavon Austin's back today.
  • Greg Zuerlein anybody?
  • This primer on the Rams-Eagles fantasy options from the mothership is worth a read. Might be a good time to bookmark SBN's fantasy hub too.

Hit us up with your fantasy thoughts for today.

Editor's Note: SB Nation's partner FanDuel is hosting a $350,000 Fantasy Football Contest for Week 5's NFL games. It's only $10 to join and first place wins $30,000. Starts Sunday, October 5th at 1pm ET. Here's the link.
