Rams-49ers: Injury Report Shows How Thin Rams Are

The Rams are dealing with the most serious injury report they have all year. Here's how things stack up as they head to San Francisco.

Welp. Let's just get into it.

Name POS Injury Wed. Status
William Hayes DE Foot DNP
Rodger Saffold G Shoulder DNP
Janoris Jenkins CB Knee DNP
Aaron Donald DT Shoulder DNP
Rodney McLeod S Knee DNP
Jo-Lonn Dunbar LB Toe DNP
Scott Wells C Elbow DNP
Cody Davis S Concussion DNP
Trumaine Johnson CB Knee Limited
Tim Barnes C Shoulder Limited
Kenny Britt WR Hip Limited
Marcus Roberson CB Ankle Limited
Lamarcus Joyner DB Hip Limited

Woof. That's a full eight players held out to start the week not including Chris Long who's eligible to return and obviously doesn't list Sam Bradford, Jake Long, Brian Quick and Brandon McGee whose seasons are already over.

The big surprise is seeing Aaron Donald up there, as he wasn't previously reported. We'll have to see if his absence was cautionary or indicative of something more serious.

In the end though, that's a brutal injury report to start the season. The Rams had been fortunate on the injury front all season until the Chiefs game.

With the attrition, Head Coach Jeff Fisher opted to lighten things up at practice and go through a walkthrough as opposed to a full-contact practice yesterday. We'll have to wait until the end of today's long practice which closes at 6pm St. Louis time to get an update and see who from the Did Not Practice group is back in the mix.
