The Rams picked up a win over Seattle on Sunday after opening up as 6.5 underdogs. This game week is starting off in similar fashion.
Oddsmakers opened the game spotting the Rams six points, but every bookie has pushed even more points to St. Louis. As we sit here mid-week, many of the lines have jumped from where they were set initially. I think part of it is that we're at the point where the sample size isn't that small for NFL teams. We're getting a decent sense of who they are. It doesn't mean that we won't see one team get hot and ride a streak into and perhaps through the playoffs, but we're getting enough information to see Denver give even more points to an incoming San Diego, to see a visiting Baltimore pull nearly even with their Cincinnati hosts, to see Carolina being spotted more and more points against a Seattle team looking for a road win.
And yes, to see the Rams down nearly a touchdown to the Arrowhead tenants.
