The Rams opened up as 6.5-point underdogs against Seattle, one of the biggest lines of the week across the league. One oddsmaker has already bumped their line up to 7.5 points, giving the Rams a full touchdown's worth cushion.
Last week, the Rams were just 3-points off of San Francisco according to the money men, but they would go on to lose 17-31. The response for this week is pretty clear. The Rams are headed in the wrong direction.
It's also the second week in a row the Rams are underdogs at home, a stark reality of the difficulty of the Octet of Pain. After Seattle, the Rams embark on a three-game road trip that is sure to see some more points headed the Rams way according to the odds.
Of the three big spreads this week, the other two being Carolina (+6.5) at Green Bay and New York Jets (+7.5) at New England, the Rams are the only big underdogs at home.
