The Rams had the first of their three practices yesterday ahead of Monday's primetime matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Here's what the official injury report looks like:
Name | POS | Injury | Status |
Trumaine Johnson | CB | Knee | DNP |
Brandon McGee | CB | Foot | DNP |
Alex Carrington | DE | Knee | DNP |
Zac Stacy | RB | Calf | DNP - ![]() |
Eugene Sims | DE | Groin | Limited |
Barrett Jones | C | Back | Limited |
Jo-Lonn Dunbar | LB | Groin | Limited |
Not a lot was made public regarding the injuries, so we'll just have to see how the guys progress.
Tru's gonna need some practice time before jumping into a game, so he's a ways off. McGee has now missed out on three weeks, so he's on a long-term mend as well. Carrington's a new addition to the injury report, and could affect the rotation on Monday as he picked up a solid chunk of playing time last weekend.
We'll keep tabs on Stacy. Fisher said initially that he'd have to miss practice but might be able to go on Monday, so it's gonna be close.
Sims and Dunbar both picked up groin injuries, but got some work in yesterday. I'd expect them to be fine for Monday. And we're getting close to #Bamabangs being healthy. You have to wonder if Fisher and crew start considering giving Jones or Robinson some time to replace Scott Wells and Davin Joseph. In any case, we're at least getting close to having that opportunity.
The Rams are back in the mix later this afternoon and into the evening with their longest practice this week. They'll wrap up tomorrow afternoon with a shorter session before Monday Night Football.
