Random Ramsdom, 1/17: Confidence

Robert Quinn is on the media circuit talking up his DPOY credentials, Sam Bradford eyes training camp and Les Snead it erasing more possibilities for draft picks.

Did you wish Brian Schottenheimer luck yesterday? The St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator interviewed for the Vanderbilt head coaching job on Thursday. Maybe the Vandy folks haven't made up their minds, so you can still send in your helpful wishes.

Sam Bradford says he feels confident about a return from ACL surgery in time for camp. That's an optimistic timeline, but not unheard of for that type of injury. He's rehabbing his knee now, even throwing the ball some.

GM Les Snead is confident in the team's wide receivers. So confident, in fact, that he doesn't see a No. 1 receiver type as a need for the Rams.

Robert Quinn made his case for being the Defensive Player of the Year on the NFL Network last night.

"When we were in Indianapolis, I think it was the first pass play, strip, sack, forced fumble. Chris Long returned it for a touchdown. That's two touchdowns."

We're all starting to get draft on our minds, even though it's only January. That's okay. Here's something for you to dig into: player position rankings from Mocking the Draft. They're releasing more today, but the updated offensive ones are all there.
