We've got the official inactives from both teams, and suffice to say, they're important.
#49ers inactives: LB Willis, CB Asomugha, WR Harper, QB Daniels, WR Moore, G Looney and FB Marecic.

Well then. No Patrick Willis, no Nnamdi Asomugha...no issue from me. Willis is sidelined with a groin injury while Asomugha's knee has him watching this one. It does mean, though, that TE Vernon Davis is a go.
For the Rams though...more drama.
#Rams inactives: I. Pead, R. Saffold, B. Jones, B. Washington, M. Person, M. McNeill and W. Hayes. #SFvsSTL #RamsPrimetime

That's right. Isaiah Pead is a healthy scratch.
We'll get more out of this moving forward, but it's another signal that Isaiah Pead's time is running short. Speaking of running short, Zac Stacy is relatively short, and he'll get the opportunity to handle the rock and start running. Oh, believe I can turn a surprise Pead inactive tweet into a dumb pun...Of course this certainly means more opportunities for Daryl Richardson as well.
William Hayes is also out as you'll notice. That means Gerald Rivers, he of preseason notoriety, is in the mix tonight. He may not be in the Rams' long-term plans, but he could establish himself as a legit option of the Rams lose any games from their DEs moving forward.
So there's your roster news complete with an Isaiah Pead nugget. Begin the hyperbole.
