St. Louis Rams defensive end Chris Long was limited in Thursday's practice, as was running back Daryl Richardson, according to the official injury report.
Long has yet to miss a game in his NFL career. It's considered unlike that he would be unavailable for this week's game in Atlanta. Richardson rested Wednesday. He was banged up in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. He managed to return in the second half of that game. Jeff Fisher said Wednesday that he expected Richardson to be fine for this week's game.
Darian Stewart isn't getting any closer to getting the safety job back. He missed practice again Thursday. Also sitting out was Quinton Pointer.
Cory Harkey returned to work this week, so the Rams could have an extra blocker on hand against the Falcons.
The Falcons had a few of their biggest names out for Thursday's practice, according to the injury report. Left tackle Sam Baker, receiver Roddy White and defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux. All three players missed practice Wednesday as well.
White's the one to watch here. He played 37 of 56 snaps last week, and caught two passes. He's dealing with an ankle injury, the severity of which isn't enough to keep him out, but is apparently enough to limit his effectiveness.
Julio Jones was limited in practice, but the Falcons do not expect to be without the budding superstar wideout.
