St. Louis Rams Practice Report, Tuesday, August 6th: Michael Brockers Injured?

Michael Brockers appears to have picked up a minor injury to his elbow or arm.

USA TODAY Sports

The Rams had their final practice before they start their preseason games. There may be some bad news.

It doesn't sound good, but luckily it appears it might be a minor injury, and he was taken out of practice as precaution.

We'll see how much he plays in the Browns game, if he is even scheduled to play as starters barely see the field in the first preseason game. It's something to keep your eye on, but I think it's just a minor injury and won't be anything to worry about.

Zac Stacy did not practice today. Also, Chris Long was limited to give the veteran another light day of work.

There was no reason given for Stacy not practicing, but I'm thinking it was for some small issue. Names are starting to add up to the injury list. Knock on the biggest piece of wood you can find Rams fans.

The Rams running back battle is getting more complicated every day. All of the RBs on the Rams roster have a place in the NFL, but how many will have a place on the Rams?

It seems like Daryl Richardson is on his way to being the starter, but behind him, it's a true battle. Watching these runners play in preseason games is going to be very fun.

Torry Holt was also in attendance, and ended the day talking to the Rams two rookie wide receivers (Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey). Are they going to be the best WR duo since Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt? Ok, I'll stop.

The Rams will be playing in their first preseason game Thursday night against the Cleveland Brown at 7:00 PM CST. Stay tuned to Turf Show Times. We will have all angles of the game covered for you.

One final note, just as soon as I was about to publish this, it was announced that Danario Alexander tore his ACL in practice. Terrible. Find all the wood you can gather and knock on it. Knock away Rams nation.
