You may remember this draft. It was the one former head coach Steve Spagnuolo, and general manager Billy Devaney, needed to hit big to help save their jobs. Well, things didn't work out for them, or most of their 2011 NFL Draft selections. Only the top three picks are currently with an NFL team, after Greg Salas was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles today.
The last of the pre-Jeff Fisher drafts did include Robert Quinn, a current part of the Rams' great bookend defensive ends. Lance Kendrick - a Josh McDaniels inspired pick - has been a solid performer, and looks to be a key offensive component for St. Louis when he returns from injury. Austin Pettis has had a "meh" career thus far, but he's currently the "old man" in the Rams wide receiver corps. A key red zone weapon for Sam Bradford last season, his future with the team in 2013 is by no means a certainty.
