The St. Louis Rams continued making roster cuts on Friday afternoon. Among the most recently reported players to depart is defensive end Mason Brodine.
Tough cut: DL Mason Brodinie, who recovered a fumble last night for Rams, is released.

Rams release TE Zach Potter. That leaves only four TEs on roster, one of which is injured Cory Harkey. So it looks like no other moves there

Brodine turned in some quality work in the preseason. He also provided one of the best highlights when he leapt over blockers on a kick against the Packers.
That could mean Gerald Rivers makes the final cut for the roster. Rivers has had a very good preseason run. He had a sack and three tackles for a loss on Thursday. Prior to that game, I banked on Brodine making the cut over Rivers.

At the tight end position, it looks like the Rams are rolling with just four, including an injured Cory Harkey. However, Fisher did say previously that the team got good news on Harkey's leg injury, but he declined to elaborate.
