St. Louis Rams - Green Bay Packers Second Half Thread

Scott Rovak-USA TODAY Sports

"Sloppy" is definitely on the mark for the Rams 1st half of their second preseason game of the year. The St. Louis defense has had troubles tackling - ANYONE - tonight. Tight end pass coverage is a huge concern now. The crowd of rookies and second year players for the Rams have been less than spectacular, with the exception of wide receiver Chris Givens, who snagged a 60 yard reception early in the first quarter.

Sam Bradford played well into the second quarter as head coach Jeff Fisher wanted to see his #1 offensive starters get into the end zone. It wasn't to be, with a fumble at the two yard line ending their best chance at a score.

Rookie linebacker Alec Ogletree has looked every bit a first year player, while wily veteran William Hayes showed why the Rams hurried to re-sign him in the off season. A sack by Robert Quinn has been the single defensive highlight.

Now it's time to take a close look at the players vying for a roster spot. I'm hoping to see more of running back Benny Cunningham, with Zac Stacy not suited up tonight.

Enjoy the second half, and GO RAMS!
