Tonight the Rams will take on the Packers in their second pre-season game, and the first game at the Edward Jones Dome in the calendar year. They will play tonight without the following players per Jim Thomas...
S Matt Giordano
RB Zac Stacy
LB Jabara Williams
DE Sammy Brown
OT Rodger Saffold
DE Eugene Sims
OT Sean Hooey
Matt Giordano will miss his second strait preseason game. He is a guy who could challenge Darian Stewart for the Free Safety position, but not if he can't play.
Saffold was injured on the first drive last week against the Browns. It looked to be serious, but the Rams were lucky. He will likely sit the rest of the preseason.
Eugene Sims will miss the game dealing with a family matter.
Zac Stacy has been dealing with some injuries issues. If it was the regular season, he could probably play. No need to risk it for the pre-season.
Also the Packers won't be playing with Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson, their top two receiving options. I was looking forward to seeing the Rams corners play against the Packers WRs, but that won't be the case.
One hour until game time. Get pumped.
