It's game day, the St. Louis Rams will be hosting the Green Bay Packers. Going into this game one of these teams will go home with a meaningless win and that team backups will go home with the thought of winning their first NFL game.
With all that being said, here's everything that you need to know about this game.
Everyone's favorite rapper/writer 3k unleashed his weekly preview of the game. Inside Joe reminds us about how Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson probably won't play, while also highlighting the many position matches like Aaron Rodgers vs the Rams defense, the Packers weak offensive line against hopefully one of the best defensive lines in the NFL. Just like anything Joe writes this is a good read.
Instead of telling you to watch everyone during the game, I decided to simplify it and just choose 8. Some of the names on the list include Tavon Austin, Austin Pettis, and Isaiah Pead. All three are players that hopefully will show up against the Packers.
The Position Battles: Safety/ Wide Receiver: Brandon B and Me
The Rams final 53 man roster isn't set in stone yet, Brandon discussed the safeties and noted that while Darian Stewart didn't do great last week, he should get the nod as the starter. While I stated that Austin Pettis might be a starter now, but don't expect him to be during the regular season.
The title speaks for itself. Joe asked Jason Hirschhorn of Acme Packing Co (Packers SB Nation Blog) a series of questions. Which ranged from how bad the Packers corners were against the Cardinals and he also asked about why Greg Jennings keeps dissing the Packers. A good read for those who want to know more about the Packers.
