One thing's for sure, Sam Bradford is excited. The St. Louis Rams quarterback drops that word more than any other when talking about his team and a bevy of new offensive skill players surrounding him. He was on SiriusXM Saturday, when Gil Brandt and Alex Marvez stopped by for day, talking about that very thing.
"I'm excited with the guys we've got in that receiver group and also with the guys we've got in at the tight end position," Bradford told the radio hosts.
The continuity might be the one thing that excites him more than the supporting cast.
"It's amazing how much more detailed you can get in year two as opposed to year one."
He's also excited about the running backs, in particular their ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and line up wide. He didn't venture much on the running back battle, endorsing both Daryl Richardson and Isaiah Pead. He said both had stepped up to fill the void left by Steven Jackson.
Bradford praised undrafted rookie Benny Cunningham as well, talking up his cuts and his ability to pick up blitzes.
Bradford talked to Brandt and Marvez for a little more than five minutes. You can listen to the interview below.
