Saturday was a brutal day for injuries around the NFL. The St. Louis Rams have been lucky so far, but the injury bug bit at Saturday's practice. This time it was running back Isaiah Pead who left team drills and headed over to the trainer. He stayed outside, but did not return to practice. The extent of Pead's situation is unknown, but it sounds relatively minor.
Friend of TST Wynnde13 caught the incident at Saturday's open practice.
Pead isn’t down. But working with trainer- back/hip issue possibly.

@RudyGIII Good you found out. StL beat writers either didn’t notice or didn’t bother to ask Fisher at his presser.

@DAzzano blocking in 11 on 11. Went straight to the trainer w/ what looked like a hip/back tweak. He stayed out for the rest of practice.

Hopefully, it was just a one-day deal for Pead. Things like sore hamstrings and calves constantly bugger players in the early days of training camp.
The Rams are scheduled to put on pads for the first time at Sunday's practice, which is also closed to the public.
