St. Louis Rams training camp 2013: Isaiah Pead unable to finish practice on Saturday

One of TST's astute friends saw the second-year running back pull up and head over to the trainer.

Saturday was a brutal day for injuries around the NFL. The St. Louis Rams have been lucky so far, but the injury bug bit at Saturday's practice. This time it was running back Isaiah Pead who left team drills and headed over to the trainer. He stayed outside, but did not return to practice. The extent of Pead's situation is unknown, but it sounds relatively minor.

Friend of TST Wynnde13 caught the incident at Saturday's open practice.

Hopefully, it was just a one-day deal for Pead. Things like sore hamstrings and calves constantly bugger players in the early days of training camp.

The Rams are scheduled to put on pads for the first time at Sunday's practice, which is also closed to the public.
