Cast off the chains of baseball, golf and whatever sorry excuse for a sport you've been forced to survive on over the last six months. Football is back. Correction, St. Louis Rams football is back. The team, all 90 players currently on the roster, will have their first practice of training camp on Thursday afternoon, at 3:30 p.m. Central. We can finally see football on the horizon.
The gate open for fans at 2:30 p.m. You are not allowed to video tape practice (and we can certainly attest to the fact that the Rams are very serious about that, for obvious reasons). You're not allowed to bring alcohol either, but these aren't the 2009 Rams, so you shouldn't really need it. There's lots more info about it all on the Rams official site.
Brandon Birkhead posted a full schedule for camp, with all the open practice dates and times, earlier in the day.
If you're planning to go to camp and planning to tweet from the scene, let us know so we can add you to our annual camp Twitter list. It's been a great way to connect with other fans and let the folks who couldn't sneak out of the office what's happening. Here's a link to the list. Just tweet at us, @TurfShowTimes, and we'll get on there.
