Detroit Lions Re-Commit to Matthew Stafford: SB Nation
It wasn’t all that long ago that the Lions made QB Matthew Stafford the highest paid [guaranteed money: $41.7mil] rookie in the history of the NFL. That was until Rams’ QB Sam Bradford stole the spotlight with his $50mil guaranteed in 2010. It hasn’t always been pretty, but four years into Stafford’s six year rookie deal, the Lions are ready to re-commit. He’ll be paid $53mil over the next five years, with $41.5mil guaranteed. Donovan McNabb doesn’t care much for this extension, which will make Stafford a Lion through 2017…
When you look at just the numbers overall, you have to think about 12,000 yards and being the youngest quarterback to reach this feat and also the things he’s been able to accomplish, you know you begin to question this…. Is he worth top 5 money? I would have to say no. And I say that because it’s about wins and losses….. What has he really done for the Detroit Lions? Nothing. - via MLive.com

Rams’ backup QB Austin Davis has 22 completions for 220, and one INT to his name. Given the very small sample size of statistics for the undrafted free agent, how does he stack up amongst the league’s backup signal callers?
Seahawks' LB Bruce Irvin Is On The Move: NFL.com
In what was a bit of a surprise, the Seahawks took WVU LB Bruce Irvin with the 15th overall in the 2012 draft. In 2013, the "carbon copy" of Broncos’ LB Von Miller will see some time at strong side linebacker.

Gregg Williams was a no-show for the Rams in 2012, and despite his absence the defense played extremely well. They look poised to improve in the upcoming year, but parts of the secondary could be a concern. Luckily, it’s his forte…
Evan Silva Shows Daryl Richardson Some Love: RotoWorld
Silva, admittedly, has been consistent in giving the Rams' starting RB job to Isaiah Pead. He took a gander at what Rams' Daryl Richardson brings to the table, and was pleasantly surprised. He even told me so…
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/NoPlanB_">@NoPlanB_</a> Thanks BB. Admittedly, I was among those underrating him before full review. Now believe he can be more than change-of-pace back.</p>— Evan Silva (@evansilva) <a href="https://twitter.com/evansilva/statuses/355108844906614784">July 10, 2013</a></blockquote>

Rams’ Head Coach Jeff Fisher Really Appreciates High School Football: Rams’ Official Website
Jeff Fisher is awesome. He’s a great coach, and he’s a great guy. One of the league’s finest doesn’t mind sharing his wisdom with local High School football coaches….neither does his coaching staff. It’s something to be proud of…
St. Louis Rams in a "Show Me" Season: Ramblin Fan
There are several [projected] starters in a contract year for the Rams heading into 2013. It’s good for the competition, but which ones do you see sticking around?

Pro Football Talk has begun their NFL rankings countdown, and with the Raiders, Browns, and Jaguars out of the way, the Arizona Cardinals drop in as the league’s fourth worst team. The Cardinals have had a heck of an offseason, and could be much better than this in 2013. Where do you think the Rams are going to fall?
Browns Fan Zings the Team One Last Time: NFL.com
Rams’ fans can probably appreciate one's unwavering support in a team through good times and bad. Lifelong Cleveland Browns’ fan - Scott Entsminger - recently passed away. The Browns were such an important part of his life that he had one final request from them…
