Random Ramsdom, 6/21: North West

Let's name our baby together, Rams fans.

USA TODAY Sports

As far as offseason stories go, I'll take the intrigue of the Saints bounty scandal over the Aaron Hernandez saga anytime. If you want to follow that story, but aren't really up for, say, live helicopter tracking shots, we've got a very efficient story stream tracking it all.

The word "dominate" isn't usually associated with the Rams. "Dominated" on the other hand ... But things are changing around here. And the Rams defense could be pretty damn dominant this season says one of the talking heads at NFL.com.

One reason the defense may "dominate" is, of course, Chris Long. Tony Softli had a pretty good discussion of Long and what's next for him on the radio this week.

NFL Huddle is a new daily feature ... ah, you can figure all that programming shit out on you own. For now, all you need to know is Warren Sapp versus Michael Strahan in the battle of television personalities.

Play action might be kind of important to the Rams this season ... look at how much better the offense was running the play action than the rest of the playbook.

Remember, in the NFL it is NOT okay to use the term "kill" as slang for beating your opponents. It is, however, perfectly acceptable to overlook the long-term impact of head injuries suffered by players. Carry on.

The Titans added former Rams tackle Barry Richardson as an insurance policy. It's the equivalent of a term-life policy you buy on television from Wilford Brimley that doesn't cover cancer, heart attack, stroke, car accident, drowning, asphyxiation, gun shots, overdose, and boredom.

North West. Geography is cool.
