MtD - Turf Show Times "LIVE" Mock Draft: Round 6

If the 2013 "LIVE" Mock Draft were given a name, it would be "Trade Down". More than in any other draft like this I've been in, the number of guys wanting to trade down, or out, of the first round hit record numbers. While it isn't uncommon to see GMs want to accumulate draft picks, the draft so far has been something to see. Bystanders, the hoards of readers sitting in our ethereal Radio City Music Hall, have looked on in both horror and delight as our rapacious GMs battled to find their way into later rounds.

Saturday was an interesting time to say the least. Trades made by the GMs for the Mock draft - over the last few days - totaled 33 trades, with a whopping total of 117 picks changing hands. Tim Tebow made the rounds of a few teams, joining a group of players that flew off team rosters. Our GMs shipped away 24 players for draft pick gold...

Our analyst filled the Twitter ranks, making observations along their Tweet-esk way. DraftTek.com has been great, and their staff is solid. They have some Mock Drafts coming up, so make sure to check out their site for dates and times. Like you could EVER have enough Mock Drafts?

Make sure to check out how your favorite team did in the draft yesterday. Some of them had an awesome day on Saturday, while others... Ryan Nassib at #8? Really Buffalo? Tyler Eifert at #12? I'm sensing a Miami "Burn Notice"in your future... Four corner backs were taken in the first round, and a young man named Te'o became a Chicago Bear... Oh, and Houston earned my eternal wrath for taking Marshal WR Aaron Dobson. (There were man tears on my pillow last night, guys. Serious man tears!)

Each round has a 3 minute clock time for picks, and we'll be flopping out threads as fast as we can. So get ready to draft like the wind!
