The St. Louis Rams could potentially have the top two picks of the 2008 draft. Jake Long would give the Rams the bookend they have been searching for ever since drafting Sam Bradford.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Jake Long is "in the process of scheduling a visit" to the #Rams. Rodger Saffold would likely move to RT.

This might be more than just a courtesy call too. According to Omar Kelly of the Florida Sun Sentinel, the Rams and Long are expected to sign a deal pending the outcome of a physical.
Jake Long will be visiting the Rams and if he passes a physical he's expected to sign with St. Louis. Reggie Bush is visiting the Lions.

Long has had injuries to his triceps, biceps, knee and shoulder but represents a definite improvement along the Rams offensive line. Long has also received a clean bill of health and proclaimed himself 100%. Also, pairing Long with Boudreau could result in Long returning to his previous form.
Adding Long would be another piece of the puzzle. It would allow the Rams to shift Roger Saffold over to right tackle. It would also allow the Rams more freedom in the draft. Some people may be complaining that the Rams will "overpay" but we wont know until he inks a contract and plays.
Let me emphasize that this is only a visit. Other teams still have interest.
Dolphins left tackle Jake Long is scheduling a visit to St. Louis for tonight. The Eagles, Bears and Dolphins also are interested.
