We're counting down the hours until the free agency flood gates open. Teams will rush to sign the league's top talent and Rams are expected to one of those teams.
The competition for some players, quite possible Jake Long, could be strong. Mike Garafolo of USA Today notes what others said before: the Rams are believed to have most interest in Jake Long.
It's been relatively quiet on the Long front. Bears and Rams believed to be among the most interested. We'll see.

This isn't the first time we've heard about the Long/Rams connection. Sports Illustrated's Peter King has mentioned Long and the Rams in the same sentence on a few occasions.
Long proclaimed himself 100% healthy and may command over $10 million per year. It could be difficult to fit Long in the Rams' offseason plans considering their offseason needs, but they've added cap space with the recently released Quintin Mikell and not tendering Darian Stewart and Jernelle Cudjo.
The rumors are out there. As Garafolo said, come Tuesday, we'll see.
