Rams vs. Seahawks: Why You Should Go To The Game

The St. Louis Rams finally get to host a Monday Night Football game and obviously they have their host of issues. But you should go to the game.

Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

The St. Louis Rams host the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night. The Seahawks are a strong team and there are not many people that expect the Rams to win. The Rams' first Monday night game in St. Louis since 2006 is happening at the same time the Cardinals also host a World Series game tonight.

With the loss of Sam Bradford and the World Series happening simultaneously, it would be a shock if the Rams have half the stadium full. However, there are some reasons why you should go to the game. It's not all doom and gloom.

1.) You get to watch Tavon Austin return kicks

I have never watched a baseball game. It's just too slow for my liking, but you know who isn't slow paced? The Rams young rookie receiver Tavon Austin. I heard watching him in person is a thing of beauty, like watching Sonic the Hedgehog and The Flash in a race with Superman shooting laser beams at them. It's that damn amazing.

Granted, when he makes that exciting play it will probably get called back, but you get to boo with the other Rams fans there.

2.) You should be able to pick your own seat

Some people will be disappointed with the fact that Sam Bradford is out for the year. Other fans will say "Hey forget the Rams I'm going to watch the World Series," which means you get to pick a place to sit. Once the game starts, you can imagine the Rams' Kevin Demoff outside selling and giving tickets away. Who knows they might even pay you to come and watch the game.

If that doesn't happen, you can buy a ticket for less than $20.

3.) Could be the last time in a long time the Rams host a Monday night game

Sadly, all good things come and go. The Dome will probably not be too full, and if the Rams get blown out don't expect another MNF game, until the Rams get much better. Obviously, the Rams earned it last year beating the Seahawks in St. Louis. The NFL likes to showcase the matchup, because lately they have been playing each other well, and they have to throw head coach Jeff Fisher a bone.

So you might want to soak in the game and the atmosphere up, because it could be the last time in a long time that St. Louis host a Monday night Football game.

4.) Tickets will be cheaper than the World Series tickets

Honestly, I didn't check the tickets for the World Series, but you know what, I guarantee there is no ticket to the game that's under 50 dollars. Heck there was a ticket for $10 dollars to the Rams game that I found online.

With tickets at that price how can you beat it? Fun for the whole family.

5.)  The Rams could win

Any Given Sunday right? Strange things happen in the NFL, maybe Marshawn Lynch fumbles a couple times and Russell Wilson throws a pick or two. The Rams could win, should you bet on the game? Well, I don't gamble, and I wouldn't do it, but you never know.

Don't you want to one day say to your kids, hey I was there when the Rams beat the Seahawks in the Rams last MNF game? You bet you do.

So will you be attending the game? Would you if you live in St. Louis? Let us know.
