Thursday Night Football Open Thread: Seahawks @ Cardinals

The Seahawks travel to Phoenix to take on the Cardinals in a crucial NFC West game that has obvious implications for the Rams.

Let's not beat around the bush. This is an NFC West intradivisional contest that has obvious impact on the Rams.

Playoffs? Sure. Media attention? Of course. Narratives? Oh, they abound. They abound.

You've got a Seahawks team that between Russel Wilson, Pete Carroll, Marshawn Lynch and Richard Sherman is rife with predetermined storylines. Arizona, on the other hand, is, like the Rams, fighting the notion that the NFC West is the domain of the Seahawks and Niners leaving the Cards and ourselves picking up the scraps.

But this is the NFL. Nothing is predetermined. Parity exists, and especially when you have the Seahawks on the road, nothing is for certain.

So if you're parked up for this one (and if you're reading this, you almost certainly are), get in. The Rams have both games against Seattle upcoming, including a Monday night game in a week and a half, along with a trip to the stadium on display tonight in early December.

Leggo.
