A little light reading for your Tuesday.
Shane Gray of ESPN101 examines Stan Kroenke and whether or not St. Louis will retain the Rams. Kroenke's track record would indicate that he will do what it takes to keep the Rams in the Lou.
Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball.com put out his new mock yesterday. Charlie has the Rams going S and LB in the first. After reading mock after mock, I have concluded that I know nothing and everyone else knows less.
Patycake15 over at The Pigskin Arch sits down with Rob Ryans eldest sibling and talks Rams, Jeff Fisher, and defensive schemes. This article offers some great insight into the Rams new defensive coordinator and his history with Jeff Fisher.
Steven Gerwell of B/R lists potential draftees who would be instant starters for the Rams. He sticks to household names, but throws in Teo...so there's that.
PFF 2012 Offensive Line Rankings
Pro Football Focus affirms what Rams fans have been saying all year - the Rams offensive line was terrible. Roger Saffold graded out in positive, but remember that guy named Quinn Ojinnaka? Well he didn't grade out so well. Also, the 49ers grade out as the top offensive line in the NFL. Food for thought.
NationalFootballPost broke down the NFL Draft by cost per snap. It is interesting and I am still wading into it. Check it out.
The 49ers 2007 Draft class is a large part of the reason for the 49ers success. The 49ers drafted Patrick Willis, Joe Staley, Ray McDonald, Dashon Goldson, and Terrell Brown in 2007. It makes me wonder if last years class can be that class for the Rams.
Jets Interested In JaMarcus Russell
The New York Jets are looking into JaMarcus Russell. I repeat, the Jets are considering Russell. Can we please, PLEASE, get Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow and JaMarcus Russell all on one team? PLEASE!??!!?
Lesean McCoy and his baby mana get into it. I understood about 40% of it, but that 40% was priceless. I suggest you check this out.
