The NFC West is going to the Super Bowl, and that team, the San Francisco 49ers, is actually favored. Fans of the St. Louis Rams doubtlessly have some mixed feelings about the Niners in the big game. On the one hand, it's the Niners, the hated 49ers, a historic rival. On the other hand, go NFC West, right?
Also worth noting, the 49ers, the Super Bowl favorites, COULD NOT BEAT THE RAMS in two attempts this season.
Oh, and a tie game.
The last team to play in the Super Bowl that had a tie during the regular season was Broncos in 1987. Last to win was 1974 Steelers
