Rob Ryan on Robert Griffin III, via The Dallas Morning News:
"I don't like him"
The Cleveland Plain Dealer captured this Rob Ryan beauty before facing the Steelers:
"We're the Cleveland Browns and we're going to go in here and beat the [heck] out of these guys," Ryan said. "We know we're from Cleveland, we know how big of a game it is, and we're going to get in there and get after their [behinds]."
This one is from Cowboys Corner:
"These are proven players, and that's what we need. I don't know if we win the all-hype team, I think that might have gone to somebody else, but we're going to beat their ass when we play them."
On the being mindful against the 20+ yard plays of the Eagles, from Blogging the Boys:
"We're going to have to smash the crap out of their running game or it's going to be a long day."
From ESPN Dallas, on if he lost his swagger after losing handily to the Eagles:
"You jest at scars and never felt the wound," Ryan replied. "That’s Romeo and Juliet, for you guys that don’t know."
Followed by:
"Uh, hell no"
And of course, Ryan's latest. The first from ESPN's Tim MacMahon, the latter from Dallas Morning News' David Moore:
"I'll be out of work for like five minutes."
"I have no sour grapes," Ryan said. "I know I did a hell of a job. I will find another spot."
That's character for you. That's what the Rams have been missing for so many years. I can't remember the last time the Rams had somebody so controversial, somebody who really spoke their mind.
Character aside, he's an upgrade in who the Rams had last year, Blake Williams. You also need to have faith in Jeff Fisher if this hire does go down. Fisher won't hire somebody who'll be a burden to the team.
I don't know about you but I am really getting excited about the possibility of the Rams adding Rob Ryan.
I'm friendly and don't bite... unless you poke me with a stick. You can follow me @Daniel_Doelling. I'm always up for chat.
